If you’re like me and you already eat ‘organic’ foods, you may already know that in addition to the many benefits organic foods provide for humans, they also provide this same superior nutrition level to our beloved dogs.
For starters, organic foods; including organic herbs and spices, such as those from a high quality, reputable company like Organic India help ‘prohibit’ the absorption of many nasty chemicals that actually ’cause’ obesity in both humans and animals. So yes, I am saying that by eating organic foods like fresh, organic vegetables and fruits, you will most definitely lessen the chances of your dog or you becoming obese.
‘Certified’ Organic foods are also ‘Non-GMO’ ( Non- Genetically Modified ) and thus they are not allowed to be grown with creepy things like chemically laden pesticides such as Glyphosate-a.k.a. ‘Round-Up’ -a product Monsanto makes; and Certified Organic foods cannot have herbicides, or fungicides in them either. * Basically, ‘common sense’ tells us that if you see the letters ‘icide’ after the root word, this can contribute to bad health or even death. Homicide, Suicide, Genocide are all words that connote such bad things. Stay away from these things that have those chemicals in them; for your own well-being and for the well-being of your dogs and other beloved pets.
Organically grown foods must be grown without using antibiotics, ‘non-potable’ sewage/waste water and waste water products, and without the use of a neurotoxin called hexane. * Many ‘conventional’ oils like soy, corn, and canola oils are extracted from their ‘sources’ with the use of hexane.
Consuming organic foods for you and your pet will help you both to avoid creepy chemicals, give you more and better quality nutrition, and of course it will greatly benefit the environment itself.
Consuming organic foods high in their anti-oxidant content, such as wonderful organic herbs like Amalaki; also known as (Amla), Ashwagandha, Ginger, Licorice Root, Milk Thistle, Neem, and Turmeric like the one in this Organic Turmeric Formula , as well as in combination with Organic Unrefined Coconut Oil, and some of the fruits and veggies off of the ‘Clean 15’ List that are safe for Dogs to consume, will greatly benefit your life and the life of your dog.
It’s rather ironic and a bit sad, but it seems that many people today spend more time, money, and effort on ‘maintaining’ their cars, homes or other material goods than they actually do on their own ‘preventative maintenance’; otherwise referred to as ‘wellness’.
Many complain that organic foods are ‘too expensive’ and ‘not worth it’, but to me I am of the belief that ‘ an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure‘, and that goes for ourselves and our 1 body that we are given to go through this life with here on Earth, as well as becoming better pet guardians and providing as much organic foods and care for our precious poochies and other pets too.
